SOS MÉDECINS EMERGENCIES AND HOME MEDICAL VISITS:

24/7 IN PARIS, 94, 93 AND 92

If your GP is away, when hospital care at home is required or even in certain urgent medical situations, the SOS Médecins Grand Paris association provides, for private individuals and certain medical-social structures, GP home visits through the day and at night.

Our general practitioners and emergency doctors make visits all over Paris (75) and in most of the districts in the departments forming the inner suburbs of Paris: 92, 93 and 94.

Are you in the Ile-de-France? SOS Médecins will come to you!

SOS Médecins Grand Paris has to deal with lots of telephone calls and requests for emergency medical interventions from all over the Île-de-France, both day and night. We have therefore introduced a request coordination system, to provide you with a service which fairly reflects the patient’s state of health.

SOS MÉDECINS CALL CENTRE:

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Is your child sick? Do you need to see a doctor? Do you have a high temperature at 4 in the morning?

Don’t panic and calm down, SOS Médecins Grand Paris is there to support and advise you…

So, contact SOS Médecins Grand Paris, by phone on 36 24 or request a home medical visit using our dedicated application.

Your contacts, Emergency Medical Care Unit Assistants, will initially identify your requirements with you, asking precise medical questions to assess the urgency of your situation, and then direct you to our coordinating doctors for a more in-depth interview.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE I CALL

SOS MÉDECINS?

To make collecting information about your health as easy as possible and to facilitate the task of the emergency doctors, you need to make sure the following information is ready:

TELEPHONE NUMBER

To improve technical reliability, our SOS Médecins Call Centre may ask you for a landline number where they can call you back, even if you are calling from a mobile phone.

PATIENT’S NAME

EXACT ADDRESS FOR HOME VISIT

Even including intercom, access code, building, floor, number of door, or any other information if applicable.

REASON FOR CALL AND PATIENT’S AGE

ANY TIMES YOU ARE UNAVAILABLE

IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR YOU TO STAY AT HOME, WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE DOCTOR TO ARRIVE.

AN EMERGENCY GENERAL PRACTITIONER ARRIVES…

HOW SHOULD YOU PREPARE FOR HIS OR HER ARRIVAL?

I’LL MANAGE MY WAITING TIME

Through the SOS Médecins Call Centre and our dedicated on-line tool for making appointments, our teams do their utmost to provide you with the most accurate information possible. The waiting time you are given is an estimated maximum waiting time. This may vary depending on the number of requests and the traffic.

I’LL PREPARE MY DOCUMENTS

Your prescriptions, your usual treatments, the health records for children or any other medical document which might be of use to the emergency doctor.

Worth knowing! Your pets may be disturbed by a home visit from an unknown doctor. Please keep them out of the way, in order to avoid any problems.
