Due to the large number of calls received each day, SOS Médecins 93 relies on an algorithm developed to classify requests in order of priority. SOS MÉDECINS CALL CENTRE

FOR SEINE-SAINT-DENIS (93):

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Under the supervision of a coordinating doctor, Emergency Medical Care Unit Assistants (EMCUA) treat all requests for visits in the Department of Seine-Saint-Denis, both day and night.

They will determine how urgent your situation is and plan a visit accordingly. This will extend from telephone advice from a doctor, to contacting the ambulance services in the event of a serious emergency.

So you will have to answer some specific medical questions about your state of health or that of your relative, in order to quickly identify the problem.

Our coordinating doctor will also collect from you the information the doctor needs to find your home, and thus respond to your request as quickly as possible.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE I CONTACT A DOCTOR IN 93?

To process your request more smoothly, please prepare the following information before dialling 36 24 (0.15 €/min):

CONTACT INFORMATION

A landline number so that we can definitely contact you if necessary.

AGE AND IDENTITY OF THE PATIENT

VISIT LOCATION

The exact address to which the doctor or ambulance services must go, as well as any additional information about obtaining access (intercom, access code, building, floor, door number).

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

AVAILABILITY

or any unavailability, if an incident obliges the doctor to be longer than expected before making his visit.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO NOT GO OUT AFTER YOUR CALL.

AN SOS DOCTORS EMERGENCY DOCTOR IS ON THE WAY…

HOW SHOULD YOU PREPARE FOR HIS ARRIVAL?

WAITING TIMES

SOS Médecins 93 has a call-coordination system for responding to all requests as quickly as possible. At the end of your call, you will be given an estimated maximum waiting time. Our teams will do their best, but bear in mind that emergencies, the number of calls or simply traffic, may, unfortunately, lengthen this period.

WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE DOCTOR

This leaves you time to put together your administrative file. Save time by getting out prescriptions, health records, list of current treatments and allergies and any other medical information that might help with the diagnosis.

Do you have a pet? Pre-empt any unpleasant surprises by keeping your four-legged friend out of the way, to give it time to accept the presence of an unknown person in its house, even if it is a doctor.
